Senior Analyst (Oct 2022 - Present)
• Oversaw a team of five, being responsible for sample analysis and reporting, helping maintain turnaround times during a period in which sample intake increased by 54 % over 6 months.
• Created, validated, and updated analytical methods for origin and production system tests.
• Made writing and editorial contributions to international guidance documents for forensic analysts through the FIRMS Network.
• Managed health and safety for the site by conducting COSHH risk assessments and implementing monthly refresher training for laboratory staff which reduced the accident rate by 13 % in 12 months.
